Whitney Museum of American Art

GALA VIDEO - DOCUMENTARY SHORT

“Building the New Whitney”

The Whitney is America's preeminent museum of American art and they hired me to create a video that told the story of the building of their new location in New York City’s meatpacking district. The project was overseen by the Whitney’s Robert Hurst using the architectural designs of Renzo Piano, and the video tells the story of its creation through the 2008 recession and Hurricane Sandy. The video premiered at their Annual Gala in 2016.
