“The Fight Against Neglected Tropical Diseases”

GSK, the global biopharmaceutical company, hired me to do a documentary short to show the extraordinary effort that goes into bringing much-needed medications to the most remote parts of the world. I filmed in Malawi, South Africa, Mexico, and Nepal to create “The Fight Against Neglected Tropical Diseases." The 12-minute documentary screened at the Neglected Tropical Diseases Forum, sponsored by The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and hosted by Bill Gates. It was also shared with every government, organization and individual along the supply chain, from village health workers to the pharmaceutical board room.

DELIVERABLES

Documentary Short

“Surviving Elephantiasis”

My crew and I traveled across Nepal and Indonesia capturing stories of a dozen patients who’ve survived a crippling disease commonly known as elephantiasis thanks to GSK’s donated meds. These stories ran as part of a social media campaign.

For the 10th anniversary of GSK’s donation of a life-changing medication I was commissioned to produce this short promo video for social media and YouTube.
